Marcos back in Manila from trilateral summit in US

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has arrived in Manila from his two-day working visit in Washington, DC.

According to the Presidential Communications Office, the President arrived around 3:03 a.m. on Sunday, April 14, at the Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.

Last Wednesday, Marcos departed for Washington to attend the first-ever trilateral summit between the Philippines, the United States, and Japan.

Marcos also met with US President Joe Biden in a one-on-one bilateral meeting.

Some of the topics discussed during the trilateral meeting were economic cooperation, cybersecurity, renewable energy, and defense and maritime.
