Marcos heads back to PH after 3-day state visit in Czech Republic

PRAGUE — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos on Friday night departed the capital of the Czech Republic after an eventful three-day state visit here.

The First Couple and their official delegation departed the Vaclav Havel International Airport at past 8 p.m. Friday local time (3 a.m. Saturday in Manila) aboard Philippine Airlines flight PR 001. They are expected to arrive in Manila by Saturday afternoon.

They capped their three-day state visit to the Czech Republic by meeting the Filipino community from Prague, with others coming from Spain, Poland, France and other parts of Europe.

Mr. Marcos was warmly welcomed by Filipinos at the Clarion Congress Hotel who chanted “BBM!” as they excitedly waved Filipino flags at him.
