MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) on Wednesday reported that it barred two American nationals convicted of sex crimes in the United States.

One of them, Peter Cahill, 60, arrived in the country via Clark International Airport on Feb. 21 from Taipei.

On the other hand, Ryan Lindley, 30, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport from Guam on Feb. 26.

Lindley was convicted in 2021 for two counts of indecent behavior with a minor, the BI added.

BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco said Cahill and Lindley were banned from entering the country for being blacklisted as undesirable aliens.

“They were also banned from entering the Philippines as a consequence of their inclusion in our immigration blacklist of undesirable aliens,” he said,

The BI added that the two were boarded on the next flight to their origin upon their arrival.
