MANILA, Philippines — Indonesian President Joko Widodo departed from Manila on Thursday afternoon following a three-day official visit.

Widodo met with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Wednesday in Malacañang to discuss the bilateral relationships between Indonesia and the Philippines.

From the meeting, a memorandum of understanding on energy cooperation was signed.

Widodo also asked Marcos for a review of the 1975 border agreement between the two nations.

The two leaders talked about regional stability, peace, and concerns regarding South China Sea as well.
