32 more Israel OFWs return home — DMW

MANILA, Philippines — A batch of 32 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) from Israel have been repatriated by the Philippine government. 

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) on Friday, said the eighth batch of repatriates from Israel were mostly hotel workers and caregivers. 

“The batch comprising 32 overseas Filipino workers, of which 8 are hotel workers and 24 are caregivers and one infant, received immediate assistance and other forms of support upon their arrival,” said DMW. 

According to DMW, the latest batch of repatriates arrived at the NAIA Terminal 3 on Friday at around 3:15 p.m.

“Including this latest group, 256 OFWs and nine children have returned to the country since the Israel-Hamas conflict erupted in early October,” DMW added.
