MANILA, Philippines — A total of 16 Philippine universities were hailed as some of the best in Asia in the Quacquarelli-Symonds 2024 Asia University Rankings released on Wednesday.
The top four ranks are still occupied by the same universities from the 2023 rankings: the University of the Philippines at 78, followed by the Ateneo de Manila University at 137; De La Salle University at 154; and the University of Santo Tomas at 179.
Meanwhile, the following universities made their first appearance in the rankings: the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and the University of San Carlos at 551-600, the Far Eastern University at 701-750, and the Mindanao State University at 801+.
