More than 9,000 killed in Hamas-run Gaza, says health ministry

At least 9,488 people have been killed in the Palestinian territory of Gaza since war with Israel erupted last month.

Health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza Strip gave this report on Saturday.

The ministry said at least 3,900 children were among those who died.

The death toll continues to rise since Israel began striking Gaza Strip in retaliation to the October 7 attacks carried out by Hamas militants in southern Israel.
