MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said that 60 overseas Filipino workers (OFW) and two infants from Israel will arrive in the Philippines on Monday, making them the fourth batch of repatriates from Israel.
According to DMW officer-in-charge Hans Cacdac on Saturday, 32 of them are hotel workers, while there are 28 caregivers.
This will bring the total number of repatriates from Israel to 119 ever since repatriation efforts started on October 18.
The DMW also said that it is continuing to monitor the rescue sites and rescue zones in the southern part of Israel with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
“Lastly, merong 770 family dito sa Pilipinas na humingi ng tulong sa ating helpline to locate their loved ones, 768 are accounted for pero may dalawa pa tayong hinahanap at dinulog na natin ito sa Israeli Self-Defense Forces,” Cacdac said.

Cacdac added that 124 OFWs in Lebanon have also requested repatriation and will return home soon.
“Sa Lebanon may 124 OFWs na humingi ng repatriation at ito’y isinasagawa na rin namin at ‘di na rin magtatagal at meron na rin tayong batch na uuwi galing Lebanon,” he added.
