MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. held a meeting with Singapore Prime Minister (PM) Lee Hsien Loong during the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix 2023.
Marcos said this Monday, disclosing in a social media post that his discussions with Lee “have been promising.”
“The discussions with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Deputy PM Lawrence Wong have been promising. Our countries can expect enhanced collaboration on multiple fronts to address common global challenges,” the President said on Facebook.

“Later in the evening, we watched Ferrari clinch the podium at the F1 Grand Prix!” he added.
Marcos went to Singapore for the 10th Asian Summit on September 13 and returned to the Philippines four days later on Sunday.
Marcos delivered a speech inviting foreign investors and global leaders to invest in the Philippines during the conference. The Palace said Monday he brought home P11 billion worth of investment pledges from Singapore-based multinational technology company Dyson.
