Bongbong Marcos flies to Indonesia for 43rd Asean Summit
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Monday flew to Indonesia to attend the 43rd Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Summit in Jakarta.
Marcos’ plane took off from Villamor Airbase in Pasay City in the afternoon.
Numerous Cabinet secretaries were at the airbase to see him off.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo had invited Marcos and other leaders in the region to continue the discussions during the 42nd Asean Summit last May.

This is President’s third trip to Indonesia during his presidency.
