How Alfonso Huang is redefining success through purpose and growth

A truly successful man is not one who is merely defined by earthly riches. It is one whose life is marked by thoughtful actions, and by the ever-growing desire to keep evolving in order to affect change in the lives of more and more people.

Businessman Alfonso Huang, chairman of Maxwealth Infinity Holdings Corp. (MIHC), is one such man. Even before the inception of MIHC, he already had a vision that would impact people’s lives. And as the company grew, it evolved into a more compassionate company that operates with the local sentiment and culture in mind.

When asked what inspired him to start MIHC, he said, “It started with my desire to positively impact people’s lives. That being said, I wanted to create a company that would make a positive change in the way people live. I was able to develop my vision for the company over time because of the experience I have gained as a leader. Coming to the Philippines, I grew to love the culture and the communities I encounter daily.”

Staying Updated

The company helps employees become more adaptable to changing times through its training programs and mentorship opportunities, wherein the importance of adaptability and growth is always emphasized. “It is also important to stay up-to-date with the industry trends and best practices in order to ensure a strong work ethic, while also guaranteeing a safe and secure environment for our employees,” he added.

Huang applies this philosophy of change to his own personal life. He believes that some of the most important life lessons he has learned throughout his career have armed him with the skills to keep evolving. He values the relationships he has built over the years – relationships which have opened his mind to new ideas and opportunities.

In continuing Progress and Innovation

“It is essential to stay agile in the face of change. Day after day, we are faced with many challenges that present to us opportunities to change. This is a daily standard that we accept and grow with. With the way I lead and make decisions, I understand better the significance of my choices and where I can guide the company to grow and develop further,” he said.

Huang believes that the secret to business evolution and longevity is setting goals, curiosity, open-mindedness, and connection with people one works with. This is essential in understanding how to work as a team so that everyone knows each other’s priorities.

Huang sees a very promising future for MIHC in the country, as the company continues to evolve. He said, “I see MIHC expanding into new markets, developing new products and services, and pursuing strategic partnerships and acquisitions. Along with my partners, I aim to become a leading innovator in the industry.”

Community Impact

Aligned with the goal of making a positive impact on the lives of communities encountered, MIHC had recently donated 1000 sacks of rice through the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) with the purpose of helping families affected by the oil spill in Oriental Mindoro. This was done with the deployment support from the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

The service to the community didn’t stop there. Recently after their aid to the oil spill victims in Oriental Mindoro, MIHC was also able to turn over rice donations to Next Gen Foundation at Pacific Roadlink Logistics Inc. in Guiguinto, Bulacan. The donation was intended for the Badjao families in General Santos City.

Huang believes that people need to constantly change in order to become better, more adaptable, and resilient. These qualities bring about growth not just personally but also professionally. Experience has taught him that people who are adaptable to change come out stronger and wiser after facing adversity.
