Japanese envoy brings ‘delicious piece of PH’ to Japan

MANILA, Philippines — Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Koshikawa Kazuhiko brought a “delicious piece of the Philippines” to Japan.

Kazuhiko posted on Twitter a photo of him at the Gundam statue in Yokohama, Japan while holding dried mangoes from the Philippines.

He shared that his Filipino friends quipped that they want the moving Gundam statue to come to the Philippines.

“Ma-GUNDAM hapon po (Good afternoon)!!! My Filipino friends once joked that they want this moving Gundam statue here in Yokohama to come to the Philippines.

“For now, I brought a delicious piece of the Philippines here instead! Meryenda po tayo (Let us have a snack)!” he tweeted on Monday.

The Gundam statue is an 18-meter moving statue based on the science fiction animation series.
