Robinsons Malls Happy Pets Club teams up with Animal Kingdom Foundation
Robinsons Malls Happy Pets Club (HPC) and esteemed animal welfare group Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF) collaborate for a series of activities and programs that would benefit the abused, abandoned and neglected animals in the country and at the same time reinforce the value of responsible pet ownership.
Purfect Pawrtnership: Robinsons Malls Happy Pets Club represented by RLC Corporate PR Director Roseann C. Villegas and Animal Kingdom Foundation represented by Project Director Atty. Heidi M. Caguioa signed the partnership agreement which involves a series of Pet Adoption activities, Spay and Neuter drives and Fundraising events in various Robinsons Malls nationwide. AKF ambassadog Sherluck together with AKF Volunteer Charm Parreno witnessed the special ceremony.
“Compassion for animals and responsible pet ownership are the core values of Robinsons Malls Happy Pets Club and Animal Kingdom Foundation’s partnership,” says Robinsons Land Corporate Public Relations Director Roseann C. Villegas. ”Robinsons Malls Happy Pets Club is one with AKF’s mission to provide better tomorrow for animals, which also inspired us to create CSR programs that would benefit the strays, Puspins and Aspins, and underprivileged pet owners,” she adds. These CSR Programs are The Gift of Furever Home or the pet adoption program; Snip ‘en Snap or the free spay and neuter program; Pet Bakuna or the free anti-rabies vaccination drive; and Pet Konsulta or the free vet consultation program.
Through the The Gift of Furever Home, AKF rescue cats and dogs are given the chance to finally belong to a loving and caring family. After a successful pilot activity last April, the second leg is already underway- dubbed as Home at Last: Pet Adoption Day with Animal Kingdom Foundation is happening on July 23 at Robinsons Galleria. The event will feature (10) shelter dogs – Anaira, Chef, Frontrow, Gian, Henry, Ivan, Max, Shein, Spotsy, and Terri, along with (2) shelter cats Ningning and Gingging – all sociable, healthy and vaccinated. What’s more, the whole day pet activity will also offer free anti-rabies vaccination, free deworming, free vet consultation and generous prizes and raffle items all thanks to Quezon City Veterinary Department and pet brands who support the same cause- Topbreed, Pet Lovers Centre, Daiso Japan, and Robinsons Super Market.
