Fiber Infrastructure and Network Services Inc. (FINSI), a homegrown engineering solutions provider, is eyeing expansion to Visayas and Mindanao following rapid growth in operations around Luzon.

FINSI, a subsidiary of Globe’s Asticom Group, has been powering up broadband fiber rollouts of major telecom companies in Luzon to address public clamor for better and faster Internet connectivity.

The company is now looking to expand its operations to Visayas and Mindanao in the coming months. It intends to penetrate key areas in different localities in these regions to build better telecom facilities and establish nationwide presence.

“FINSI strives to highlight the importance of infrastructure and telecommunications in the country. We are one with telcos in providing faster and better internet connection around the country through fiber optic technology. We aim to build more fiber lines and provide service to several areas beyond Luzon later this year,” said Marc Kerveillant, FINSI General Manager.

In 2021, after barely a year of operations, FINSI built over 87,000 fiber lines.  It also put together more than 80 build teams to help solve complex business challenges.

FINSI currently serves the National Capital Region, Southern Luzon provinces such as Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon, and the Bicol Region.

In December, it was instrumental in restoration efforts in Cebu following the devastation wrought by Typhoon Odette. There, FINSI helped Globe restore over 19,000 communication lines damaged by the powerful storm.

A subsidiary of the Asticom Group of Companies (AGC), FINSI aspires to accelerate the Philippines into a connected nation by using leading-edge technology with the help of world-class local experts.

“We seek to continuously improve the lives of the Filipino people with innovative and tech-based solutions. With FINSI, we realize this through simple and effective cutting-edge solutions that add real value to our client’s businesses. While doing so, we are also creating more opportunities for Filipinos by helping them thrive in the digital age,” said Asticom President and CEO Mharicar Castillo-Reyes.

FINSI serves as the outside plant and last-mile solutions partner of telecom and technology companies, covering site acquisition and permitting, network implementation and planning management services, transport and service delivery, installation, repair, and maintenance.

It also offers technical engineering and advisory services such as backend support, broadband and network support, and operations.

As part of the Globe ecosystem, FINSI supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly UN SDG No. 9, highlighting the roles of infrastructure and innovation as crucial drivers of economic growth and development. It is committed to upholding the UN Global Compact principles and contributing to 10 UN SDGs.
