South Korean robbed of P1.5-M jewelry, cash in Cebu City
MANILA, Philippines—Robbers ransacked a South Korean’s temporary residence in Cebu City, taking the victim’s jewelry worth P1,458,000 and about P54,000 in cash, the Philippine National Police said Tuesday.
Several suspects robbed 48-year-old Hyun Jung Park at around 6 a.m. at Unit IV Quadroflex in Friendship Street, Capitol Site, said PNP spokesman Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr.
Cruz said the thieves took $1,200 (P51,852) and ₩50,000 (P1,900) in cash, an I-card and ATM card.
The case was under investigation, he said.
