PH, US armies plan 2023 bilateral activities
MANILA, Philippines — The joint exercises between the Philippine Army (PA) and United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) have just started but the two parties were already discussing plans for next year’s bilateral activities.
Army vice commander Maj. Gen. Henry Doyaoen and USARPAC deputy commanding general Maj. Gen. Matthew McFarlane tackled the proposed 2023 activities between the two armies during their meeting on Thursday in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
“The areas of engagement between PA and USARPAC will focus on army-to-army capability development, interoperability and military professionalization and development,” the PA said.
