MANILA, Philippines—Robbers broke into a rented house of a Korean missionary in Quezon City on Saturday night and carted away cash and valuables estimated to reach P100,000, a police report said.
Case investigator, Police Officer 2 Hermogenes Capili, of the Quezon City Police District, said the robbers entered the foreign national’s house on Maginoo St., Barangay (village) Pinyahan, Quezon City.
Taken from the victim’s house were an IBM Laptop worth P130,000; a Panasonic digital camera, P12,000; four Samsung mobile phones; and P500 in cash, Capili said.
The police investigator said that the Korean discovered the burglary upon returning home from a Christmas party with his family early morning the following day.
The policeman said there was no sign of forcible entry and the robbers could have entered the house using the main entrance.
The victim added they only noticed the robbery when they realized that their valuables were missing.
