MANILA, Philippines — The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases has approved a proposal acknowledging the national COVID-19 vaccination certificates from Brazil, Israel, South Korea, and Timor Leste.
Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles on Thursday said that the move is for the purposes of arrival quarantine protocols and mobility.
“Inaprubahan ng IATF ang recommendation ng Department of Foreign Affairs na kilalanin ang national COVID-19 vaccination certificate ng Brazil, Israel, South Korea, at Timor Leste for purposes of arrival quarantine protocols as well as for interzonal, intrazonal movement,” the acting presidential spokesperson said during the Laging Handa briefing.
(The IATF approved the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs to recognize the national COVID-19 vaccination certificate of Brazil, Israel, South Korea, and Timor Leste for purposes of arrival quarantine protocols as well as for interzonal, intrazonal movement.)
The Bureau of Quarantine, Department of Transportation, and the Bureau of Immigration were directed to comply with the resolution.
Earlier, the IATF approved the acceptance of the national COVID-19 vaccination certificate of Slovenia, Bahrain, Qatar, Switzerland, and Hong Kong.
