Globe Rewards open donation drive for PGH after fire

The Philippine General Hospital (PGH) is one of the vital medical institutions in Metro Manila, and is the largest COVID-19 referral hospital in the country. Last May 15, a fire ravaged sections of the hospital leaving disadvantaged patients, including newborns, displaced and in dire need of help. 

Globe Rewards opened its platform for a donation drive to help PGH in its recovery drive.

At the height of the surge of COVID-19 cases in April, the facility’s bed utilization rate touched 90%, based on data provided by the Department of Health.

Globe customers may easily help by donating their Rewards points through glbe.co/GRewardsApp. Each Reward point is equivalent to P1. Download the Globe Rewards app (https://www.globe.com.ph/rewards.html#GRewardsApp) and click on the “Let’s Help PGH” banner. Select the corresponding denomination then press “REDEEM NOW”. A confirmation message will be sent by 4438 upon successful donation.

Customers may also help via GCash’s “Pay Bills” option.  Just tap “Others” and select #GCashGivesBack.
