761 Pinoys abroad get COVID-19
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday reported that 761 more Filipinos abroad have been infected with the new coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 15,850 among Filipinos abroad. The DFA said the reported spike was a record high for the year and was due to the increase in cases in the Middle East. It also reported that two more Filipinos died of COVID-19, but 10 others have recovered. Data gathered by the DFA showed that 1,040 Filipinos overseas died while 9,536 recovered. But 5,274 patients were still undergoing treatment, it added.
