43 Pinoys abroad test positive for coronavirus

Forty-two more Filipinos abroad have tested positive for the new coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total to 12,350, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Monday. There are currently 3,457 patients still undergoing treatment, it added. The DFA also reported that 35 more Filipinos recovered from the illness, bringing to 8,032 the total number of recoveries. One new COVID-19 fatality was reported among Filipinos in the Americas, raising the death toll to 861.—Tina G. Santos
