Filipinos abroad with COVID-19 now at 11,423 – DFA

MANILA, Philippines — Six more Filipinos abroad have been infected with the coronavirus disease, increasing the total COVID-19 cases among Filipinos overseas to 11,423.

As of Saturday, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said there were three newly recovered Filipinos abroad in the Asia-Pacific region, raising the total number of survivors to 7,367.

No fatalities were documented. So the total number of deaths among Filipinos abroad to 828.

Of the 11,423 infected Filipinos abroad, 3,228 were being treated in hospitals.
