DFA: 4 new COVID-19-related deaths among Filipinos abroad
MANILA, Philippines—The Department of Foreign Affairs tallied four new COVID-19-related deaths among Filipinos living abroad, the agency said Saturday.
The new fatalities came from the regions of Asia and the Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East, bringing the total death toll to 790.
There were also three new confirmed cases and nine new recoveries.
As of its latest tally, the DFA recorded 10,433 confirmed cases with 2,989 of those under hospital care or undergoing treatment.
A total of 6,654 individuals have recovered from COVID-19 or were discharged from their respective hospitals.
There are 78 countries wherein Filipinos abroad have contacted COVID-19.
