3 new COVID-19 cases, 9 recoveries among Filipinos abroad—DFA
MANILA, Philippines—The Department of Foreign Affairs recorded three new active cases of COVID-19 among Filipinos living abroad, the agency announced Saturday.
The three new cases were from Asia and the Pacific, but the region also saw nine new recoveries together with the Americas.
There was one recorded death in the Middle East/Africa.
A total of 10,116 cases have been confirmed but only 3,074 of those are active or undergoing treatment.
Of the total, 6,284 individuals have already recovered from the virus or were discharged from their respective medical facilities.
The DFA also tallied 758 total deaths.
