DFA records 15 new COVID-19 among Filipinos abroad
MANILA, Philippines—The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Saturday recorded 15 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases among Filipinos living abroad.
The new cases came from the Americas, Asia and the Pacific, and Middle East/Africa bringing the total of infections to 9,843, the DFA said in a post on its official Twitter account.
There are also 19 new recoveries that were recorded in the Americas, Asia, and the Pacific, and Europe bringing the total to 5,842 with 3,326 Filipinos abroad undergoing treatment.
Three deaths were tallied from the Americas bringing the total number of fatalities among Filipinos abroad to 725.
The DFA said there are 72 countries where COVID-19 cases among Filipinos have been reported.
