COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad breach 9,500
MANILA, Philippines—The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Saturday reported that the total number of COVID-19 cases among Filipinos living abroad passed the 9,500 mark.
There were 84 new confirmed cases from countries across the Americas, Asia and the Pacific, and the Middle East, putting the total number of infected Filipinos abroad at 9,556, the DFA said.
The DFA also reported that Filipino nationals abroad undergoing treatment are at 3,313.

Foreign Service Posts tallied 41 new recoveries and five new fatalities that were from the Americas and Middle East/ Africa.
There are now 671 deaths among Filipinos living abroad due to COVID-19 while 5,572 have recovered or discharged from medical facilities.
