Starting July 20, foreigners, including transfer passengers, going to South Korea must present at Ninoy Aquino International Airport check-in counter a negative COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test result issued within 48 hours, or two days before departure time.
According to Manila airport authorities, the South Korean Embassy designated only nine Philippine hospitals where PCR tests must be taken by incoming passengers.
These are the St. Luke’s Medical Centers in Quezon City and Taguig City; Makati Medical Center; Manila Doctors Hospital; The Medical City in Pasig City; Lung Center of the Philippines in Quezon City; Baguio Medical Center; and the PRI Medical Center and The Medical City Clark, both in Pampanga. —Jerome Aning
