UAE donates 4 MT of medical supplies

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has sent a planeload of medical supplies to support front-liners in the COVID-19 health crisis.

The donation consisted of 4 metric tons (MT) of personal protective equipment such as masks, gloves and shoe covers, and 3 MT of sanitizers and wipes.

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, Foreign Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. and chief implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. accepted the donation from UAE Ambassador Hamad Al-Zaabi on Thursday. —DONA Z. PAZZIBUGAN
