Based on DFA’s latest report, a total of 757 Filipinos abroad have now contracted the respiratory ailment, including 21 new cases.
Moreover, DFA said that of the total count, 414 are still undergoing treatment while 240 are able to recover from the illness caused by coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, which was first detected in China’s Wuhan City, Hubei province, in late 2019.
According to DFA, those infected Filipinos are found in 41 countries and regions.

“The DFA remains committed to supporting global and national efforts against #COVID19 to assist our kababayan abroad until we see a global ‘flattening of the curve’,” assured DFA.
In the Philippines, 5,660 people have been found positive for SARS-CoV-2 as of Thursday. This includes 362 fatalities and 435 recoveries.
