DFA: 275 Filipino workers of cruise ships from London repatriated

MANILA, Philippines— The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Friday 275 crew members of two cruise ships from London have returned to the country.

Of the number, DFA said 128 Filipino crew were from MV Oceana and 147 Filipino crew were from MV Aurora.

DFA assured all 275 Filipinos underwent medical protocols and will undergo mandatory quarantine as prescribed by the Department of Health (DOH).

Earlier, two batches of repatriates from the United States also arrived in the country.

At least 440 Filipino cruise ship workers returned home from Norwegian Pearl, Sky, and Sun cruise ships in Miami, US.

Another batch consisting of 450 Filipino seafarers from five cruise ships in New Orleans, United States has also returned to the country.
