DFA repatriates 450 Pinoy cruise ship crew

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) repatriated on Thursday and Friday three more batches of Filipino seamen and cruise ship crew totaling 450 from Spain, the Caribbean and Miami in the United States.

The latest were 248 crew members of MSC Divina from Miami, who arrived on a chartered flight at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) Terminal 1 at 6 a.m. Friday.

On Thursday, 123 seamen arrived at Naia from Spain, including 64 crew of MS Marella Celebration and 59 crew of MV World Odyssey.

At Clark International Airport, 79 seafarers from Carnival Pride, Carnival Panorama, Carnival Horizon and Carnival Breeze, and others from World Odyssey arrived on Thursday. —Jerome Aning
