COVID-19 hits 335 overseas Filipinos
MANILA, Philippines — The number of overseas Filipinos in 30 countries who contracted the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has climbed to 335, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced Monday.
Data from the DFA showed that 220 of the Filipinos are currently undergoing treatment while 111 patients have recovered.
As of 29 March 2020, a total of 335 OFs from the following regions have been confirmed COVID-19 positive: Asia and Pacific, Europe, Middle East/Africa, and Americas; of which 144 are DOH IHR verified, 55 are new cases, and 220 are undergoing treatment reported since yesterday. pic.twitter.com/EC4dGM32vk

Four others perished, according to the DFA.
“The 19.64% increase in the confirmed cases can be attributed to the number of new cases reported in the Asia and the Pacific and Europe regions,” the DFA said.
