3 more Filipinos in HK test positive for coronavirus

The Philippine consulate general in Hong Kong has confirmed that three more Filipinos have tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bringing to 16 the number of Filipinos afflicted with the disease.

The consulate said information came from the Hong Kong health department.

The COVID-19-positive patients are now undergoing treatment in various hospitals in the territory.

Citing the recent surge in COVID-19 cases in Hong Kong, the consulate has renewed its appeal to the Filipino community “to stay at home whenever possible and, if there is a need to go out, to make sure to avoid crowded places and practice social distancing.”

The consulate said it was extending all assistance to the 16 Filipino patients sick with COVID-19. —Jerome Aning
