DFA: 153 Filipinos abroad infected with COVID-19; 1 dead
MANILA, Philippines — As many as 153 Filipinos from 23 countries/territories across the world have been infected by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Department of Foreign Affairs said Monday.
Of the number, 66 are currently undergoing treatment, 86 have recovered while one in France died.
Here are the latest figures of COVID-19-infected Filipinos abroad according to the DFA:
As of date, there are now 462 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country. Of them, 33 have died while 18 recovered.
The virus was first detected in Hubei, China and has so far infected more than 290,000 and killed nearly 13,000 across 186 countries and territories.
