MANILA, Philippines — The overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in Hong Kong who tested positive for COVID-19 is now in stable condition, the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong said on Wednesday evening.
“The patient is in good condition and no longer shows symptoms like cold, cough, and fever. He is getting adequate care, although personal visits are forbidden at the moment,” the Consulate General said in a statement in Filipino.
The Filipino is in good dispositio and did not show symptoms of the disease such as colds, coughs, and fever. He is in good health although personal visits to the hospital are prohibited.)
The migrant worker may be discharged if the succeeding tests showed negative results for the virus.
The Consul General also urged the public to respect the worker’s privacy.
