MANILA, Philippines — By the end of February this year, Filipinos planning to travel to South Korea can get their visas nearly two weeks faster.
The South Korean Embassy in Manila announced earlier this week that its current visa processing period of 25 to 27 days will be cut to 10 to 15 days after it placed additional staff.
“The Embassy has allotted additional visa staffs for faster processing of Korean visa applications,” the announcement posted on its website read.
The embassy added that the reduced processing period will be retained for visa applications of Filipino travelers who plan to visit Korea during the peak season in March and April.
