Rise Against Hunger produced healthy food packs for calamity response and facilitated the packing activity to enable large groups of volunteers to take part in relief operations.

“Globe has a very engaged employee workforce that is always ready to help communities in times of disaster. We are extremely grateful to our employees across the Globe Group for their generosity,” said Yoly Crisanto, Globe Chief Sustainability Officer and SVP for Corporate Communications.

Globe is at the forefront of espousing employee engagement by providing more opportunities for them to live out the company’s service principles and create a culture of social responsibility. These, in turn, motivate employees to be better at work and to create a positive change in the communities.

Aside from providing meals for the calamity victims, Globe has also set up Libreng Tawag and Charging stations in the provinces of Samar, Mindoro, Sorsogon, Quezon, Camarines Sur, Albay, Romblon, and Tuguegarao City to assist in their communication needs.
