Quality internet connections are important to everyday life for every Filipino. Social media, websites, and video streaming are now an integral part of how we consume information and entertainment. This means that netizens rely on stable connectivity to stay up to date. For people in Cainta, internet connections are now better, faster and free!
Globe GoWiFi and the local government of Cainta are embarking on a partnership to provide the city’s residents and workers with free, high-quality data connectivity. By making GoWiFi available in more high-traffic places, the partnership is making high-quality connections more accessible to more Filipinos.
Last September 24, 2019, GoWiFi Business Development and Marketing Director, Janis Racpan, and Cainta Municipal Mayor Hon. Johnielle Kieth Nieto signed a partnership to make GoWiFi available in the Cainta Municipal Hall and Cainta Municipal Hospital.
Cainta is the third local government unit but the first in Rizal province to have this partnership with Globe GoWiFi following the successful partnership it has established with Manila and San Juan LGUs recently. It is also very significant because of the strategic location of Cainta as it serves as the gateway to the eastern part of the province.
Moreover, at least 5,000 employees, residents, hospital staff, patients and visitors will now have access to free WiFi hotspots by connecting to @OneCainta_FreeGoWiFi hotspot. By connecting, they can readily gain important and relevant information that will speed up their transactions and dealings within the municipal hall and the hospital.
Cainta College and Cainta Public Market will also have their own Globe GoWiFi free hotspots within the year.
GoWiFi is the country’s largest WiFi service with more than 2,500 hotspots all over the country. Regardless of their mobile network provider, users can expect connection speeds as fast as 100Mbps depending on the location. Just connect to the hotspot @FreeGoWiFi or @<site>_FreeGoWiFi, register, wait for SMS verification, select a WiFi offer, then confirm and start surfing.
