Kuwaiti charged for Filipina’s death

The Kuwaiti police has charged the 60-year-old employer of Filipino domestic Constancia Dayag, who was found beaten to death in her room on May 14.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) identified the employer, Bader Ibrahim Mohammad Hussain, for whom Dayag had worked for more than three years.

The DFA earlier said the certificate released by Al-Sabah Hospital in Kuwait indicated that the cause of death was still under investigation.

“Once the Kuwaiti report is released, we will double-check it with our own experts,” it added.

The forensic report will be issued by the criminal evidence department of the Kuwaiti interior ministry, according to the DFA.

On Twitter, Foreign Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr., commenting on the case, said, “We leave no stone unturned.”
