MANILA, Philippines — The United States (U.S.) Embassy to the Philippines has announced that its offices would be closed on May 27 to celebrate Memorial Day.
“The Embassy of the United States in the Philippines and affiliated offices will be closed to the public on Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day, a U.S. federal holiday,” the U.S. Embassy said in a statement on Thursday.
Memorial Day is a federal holiday, where people who have died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces are remembered and honored. It is celebrated every last Monday of May. (Editor: Mike U. Frialde)
