OFW maltreated in Saudi Arabia back in PH – DFA

MANILA, Philippines — An overseas Filipino household worker allegedly maltreated in Saudi Arabia has come home to the Philippines, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said.

In a post on their official Twitter account late Tuesday, the DFA said Cristina Arado was forced to work in different households in Saudi Arabia.


According to the DFA, the Philippine Consulate in Jeddah “rescued Arado the next day it was notified” of her situation. /cbb
