MANILA, Philippines — Thousands of job opportunities in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Germany are now open for Filipino workers, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) has announced.
The POEA said Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health needs 1,000 female specialist nurses. To qualify, the applicant must be a Bachelor of Nursing graduate, must have a Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board license and must have two years of relevant experience.
Applicants have until Jan. 25 to submit their applications and needed documents at any POEA Regional Office and until Feb. 1 if they will be submitting at the POEA Central Office.
The National Ambulance Company in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates are looking for 150 emergency medical technicians (EMTs).
Interested applicants must be a graduate of Bachelor of Nursing, must have completed an internationally recognized EMT-Basic course and eight months of experience as an EMT.
The deadline for submission of applications will be on Jan. 31, the POEA said.
Meanwhile, the German Federal Employment Agency is also in need of 400 nurses.
Applicants must have an active Philippine Nursing License, two years of related professional experience and must be willing to undertake six months of German language training in the Philippines.
The deadline of submission of application will be on Feb. 28, the POEA said. /muf
