DFA: Fil-Am student among dead in Los Angeles shooting

An 18-year-old Filipino-American student was killed in the shooting incident in Thousand Oaks, California in Los Angeles, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) confirmed on Friday.

The DFA said Alaina Punzalan Housley, freshman student from Pepperdine University, was among the 13 people killed in the shooting incident on Wednesday evening.

Adel Angelito Cruz, Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles, reported to the DFA that they will continue to monitor the developments regarding the investigation into the case.
