LOOK: Arroyo sends Filipino students to China ‘to witness China’s growth’

/ 11:32 AM November 09, 2018

House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has sent 10 Filipino students to Hong Kong and Guangzhou Province in China last Wednesday to Thursday (Nov. 7 to 8).

Arroyo said this was so the young students– three of whom are persons with disabilities and some from Marawi City — could “witness and experience for themselves the growth of China in the last 40 years since it opened up to the world.”

The students also attended the Youth Summit 2018 of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) in Hong Kong. The Pampanga representative is a member of the BFA Board.
