MIAA cancels some flights to and from Guam

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) announced on Wednesday that some flights to and from Guam were canceled due to bad weather.

In an advisory, airport authorities said the following flights of the Philippines Airlines were canceled as of 2 p.m. due to Typhoon “Yutu” that is affecting Guam.

PR 110 Manila – Guam

PR 111 Guam – Manila

Cebu Pacific has also announced the following flights canceled for Thursday, October 25.

5J 101 Manila – Guam

5J 102 Guam – Manila

The airline said that it set a “recovery flight” on Friday, October 26, to assist the affected passengers.

It added that the passengers have  been informed about the matter.

The state weather bureau said that Yutu is unlikely to hit the Philippines. It was last spotted 2,555 kilometers east of  Visayas, moving west-northwest at 20 kilometers per hour. /ee
