Cebu Pacific cancels flights to Guam, Osaka

Cebu Pacific airline canceled at least four international flights on Tuesday due to bad weather, it said in an advisory.

According to the airline, the following flights were called off until Thursday, September 13, due to Typhoon “Mangkhut.”

5J 101 Manila-Guam

Mangkhut is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the following flights to and from Japan were also canceled due to the damage to Kansai International Airport caused by Typhoon “Jebi.”

5J 828 Manila-Osaka

5J 827 Osaka-Manila

The airline said that it already notified its passengers regarding the flight cancelations.

Passengers have the option to rebook their flights, reroute to Narita or Nagoya airports (subject to seat availability), convert into a travel fund, or get a full refund due to the incident, Cebu Pacific said. /cbb
