President Rodrigo Duterte is scheduled to visit Jordan in September, Malacañang announced on Tuesday.
Duterte’s visit to the Arab state will be part of the Philippines’ agenda to nurture ties with Middle Eastern countries.
“After the Israeli visit, the President will also fly to Jordan,” Presidential spokesman Harry Roque said in a press briefing.
“We want to promote ties with all peoples of the Middle East,” Roque said./ee
