Philippine Navy bares outreach activities for 113th anniversary

THE Philippine Navy (PN) will celebrate its 113th anniversary with the theme “The Philippine Navy: A vital partner for peace, security and development of our maritime nation.”

Activities will be conducted simultaneously by all Navy units nationwide.

In the Visayas, the Naval Forces Central (Navforcen) will conduct dental mission and operation tuli (circumcision) today in barangay Looc, Lapu-Lapu City and mangrove and tree planting tomorrow inside the Naval Base Rafael Ramos, also in barangay Looc.

Around 10,000 mangrove propagules and 50 fruit bearing trees will be planted by the Navforcen personnel, together with the employees of Visayan Electric Co.
