If proven true, the government will protest a report that members of the Chinese Coast Guard were taking the catch of Filipino fishermen at the disputed Scarborough Shoal (Bajo de Masinloc) in the West Philippine Sea.

“If established, its a ground for protest. Have asked GMA to authenticate but video that I saw was inconclusive. Didn’t actually see any bullying,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a text message on Friday.

GMA News has reported that the Chinese Coast Guard have been taking the catch of the Filipino fishermen in the dipsuted sea.
