PH committed to 70% cut in emissions – Legarda
The Philippines, an insignificant contributor to the world’s greenhouse gas emissions, has renewed its vow to cut emissions by 70 percent in 12 years at an international climate change conference, according to Sen. Loren Legarda.
The senator, speaking at the 2018 Climate Change
Conference in Bonn, pressed developed countries to drastically reduce fossil fuel consumption and assist countries that are most vulnerable to the effects of climate change. —DJ Yap
